Andrea and Dane’s wedding was one for the history books. It had everything you can ever imagine a wedding should have, elegance and glamor, sentimentality, tears, laughs, an incredible venue and two people who deeply deeply love each other. I was so giddy about Andrea and Dane from the first moment I met them at Dane’s cousin’s wedding. They are charming and sweet and hilarious. When they asked me to photograph their wedding I couldn’t contain my excitement and I have been telling everyone about it ever since.
Andrea and Dane are the type of people that invite everyone into their lives with the depth of a great friend. Maybe this is why I cried so much at their wedding. That and Andrea was not only stunning, and beaming, but she couldn’t contain her excitement to just smiles but simultaneously laughs and tears. It was the most beautiful thing I have experienced. Their joy for each other is extraordinary. When I walked into her getting ready room her smile was dazzling. It perfectly matched her incredibly beaded sparkling gown. *Swoon*. Every moment, every detail was planned to a T by Andrea, Dane and Mark at Mark Christopher events. Andrea even made cards for Dane to open throughout the day.
When they got to the church Dane and his groomsmen were just as excited. Joking around with each other and ultimately overjoyed to be with Dane that day. When Andrea walked down the aisle, the world stopped. The pastor even noted that Andrea didn’t even notice that there were people at her wedding. Her eyes were locked on her husband to be.
The day followed perfectly in to the evening. Swoon after swoon, I continued as Dane swept Andrea off her feet to kiss her, how the light came through the aspen trees during photos and then the room. Oh goodness The Ritz Carlton at Bachelor Gulch is an incredible venue set on top of the mountain. Mark made it feel like a glamorous and intimate dinner party with rich pink and magenta flowers atop gold candelabras and sparkling table cloths. And if that wasn’t enough the cake was a six-tiered glittering masterpiece with cascading orchids and peonies.
The rest of the night went off without a hitch. Hilarious and heartfelt speeches by Andrea’s dad and maid of honor, followed by a cute admission that although growing up Dane’s older brother wished he was a baby alligator, he was more than happy he was Dane instead. They danced, they partied, they got very very silly in the photo booth and they celebrated and incredible union.
Congratulations Andrea and Dane! I could not be happier for the two of you.
Thank you so so much to the incredible vendors!
