Peyton & Ryan are the nicest people you will meet. Ali and I were so excited to be with them last Saturday on their wedding. We knew it was going to be an awesome day, but when we got there Peyton and Ryan were in high spirits and SO relaxed. They were telling us awesome stories of the rehearsal dinner at their house the night before and had us laughing almost immediately upon arrival. The day continued the same way.
We headed to Three Ponds Park for their first look and bridal party. Everyone was so excited to have the first really sunny day and we quickly remembered how hot that Colorado sun is. The boys stuck it out though, hanging in the shade and looking cool with their jackets slung over their shoulder. It was the first time I have ever heard groomsmen say they would rather get ready for 3 hours and wear dresses if it meant they didn’t have to be in those suits!
Peyton and Ryan were dreamy, silly, and sweet all at the same time. She looked stunning in her perfectly fitted lace embroidered dress from Anna Be Bridal. It was fun to see her spin and flirt with her soon to be husband. Ryan loved the attention from her as he smiled with those rosy cheeks and big grin.
Their ceremony followed at the Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. The light in the sanctuary is beautiful. The ceremony perfectly reflected their personalities. The Priest was hilarious with beautiful notes of sentimentality. It was so fun to meet all the flower girls and ring bearer before hand and then watch them traipse down the aisle.
The fun continued afterwards as we stopped off at Clear Creek History Park right after the ceremony, for a quick break and then headed straight to the cocktail hour and reception at The Briarwood Inn in Golden. With doing all the photos beforehand, Peyton and Ryan were announced into their cocktail and spend the whole time celebrating, drinking, laughing, and eating the delicious Mac and Cheese bar. That is right, a whole bar of toppings for mac and cheese. HEAVEN! That wasn’t the only well stocked bar, as the regular bar was open all night to support celebration and lots of dancing. After a delicious dinner, dancing was held under the market lights on the patio. Their patio there is so perfect for hanging out well into the night. It reved up with a hilarious and adorable display of children getting their groove on. And if that wasn’t enough, when the rain came, the dancing did not stop. Ryan and Peyton let the blessing of rain on their wedding day pour down on them!
It was such a fun day. I am very happy for Mr. & Mrs. Redland. Congratulations on your marriage! It is going to be an incredible adventure.
