Colin is 6 months! Like all babies, he grew so fast. He has the cutest and brightest smile. I was also so surprised to see all those teeth. Honestly, from the moment we stepped out of the car he was beaming. I kept saying, your family is so easy! And they are. Kim and Steven have always been great to photograph. Stephanie raved about them when she photographed their wedding. When I got to start photographing their family I totally understood her raving. They are so sweet. You can see in Colin how their calm and easy approach to parenthood has really made him a sweet kid. Plus, I am pretty sure that parent’s dispositions come out in the children too.
We headed to Cherry Creek State Park for photos. This is one of my favorite spots. I feel that it is under appreciated. It is rare that we find big lush deciduous trees in a forest in Colorado. While we were there, we quickly recognized how they got so green. The same water that makes this area so lush brought out all the bugs to bite us. We spent some time playing and cuddling in the forest and then headed to more open fields to catch the wild grasses and sunshine. It was overall a beautiful day and a pleasure to spend it with this family. I can’t wait to see them again in 6 months when Colin turns 1! Oh man
