The Tekulve family make me happy. Every time I see them I have so much fun. We had some plans grand plans of going to the mountains and sledding and with not much snow we decided that might not happen. Brittany, came up with an idea that turned out to be way better than I could ever imagine. Conrad and Everett love tractors. So they got a few new toys and we headed to 17 Mile Farm and House Park to play on the porches and in the dirt near the red barn. It was so fun watch them play and giggle. I just wanted to jump right in and dig in the dirt too.
We also got to celebrate Conrad’s first birthday with some cake! Everett isn’t the biggest fan of sweets but Conrad was mowing down that cake. It was actually really cute to see Everett watching his little brother munch down his cake. They also sang to him and it made both of the boys so happy. As we were hanging out and I was watching Brittany and Brian with their little boys all I could think was “aha, this is why these little boys are so cool, Brittany and Brian are the best.” They are just so happy together and to play with their kids. This is what family life should be. It was fun to enjoy the day, family style.
