Happy birthday John! Yes, that is right, John turned one last week and I got to celebrate his birthday with him! We had such a good time down at the open space behind 17 mile House and Farm Park. It was the perfect place to explore, get a little fancy, hide John’s true superhero nature, and celebrate his birthday.
Matt and Amy, as you know, have been part of the Elevate family for some time now. I can’t believe, however that it has been a year since I met this little guy at their house after just 2 weeks of life. Now it has been a whole year! Oh how they grow. He is a ball of personality. Giggling and chatting up a storm. He knows what he wants and what he doesn’t want. And already is filling big shoes and proving to be a cuter Captain America. It was so fun just to take a lovely afternoon and enjoy time with this family. I love seeing kids grow and hearing the stories of how Matt and Amy’s life has changed over the last year. Amy brought all sorts of fun stuff for us to play with, including trains, super hero gear and the ultimate, a ball pit! Though I think we wore John out a little bit too much to fully enjoy the ball pit, I am sure his one year party was a blast with it!
I hope it is not a whole year til I see them again. It is so fun being a part of their lives!
