George is one! I swear every time I see him I am in awe. He has so many great qualities that you can see at such a young age. He is adorable with those big blue eyes, curious, attentive, excited, sweet, playful and so much more. I adore him and his parents. It has been so fun to be part of his first year of life, all the way from when you couldn’t tell Alex was pregnant, to this big boy! We tickled and giggled, got some grandparent time, spun around, crawled all over the floor and best of all, ate cake! Yes, it is always a jealousy of mine when I see these littles encouraged to eat a whole cake. But sweet George was also trying to share with his parents as soon as he got that first taste. I mean he basically said, “dang this is good, you should have some too.” I can’t wait to see what 2, 3, 4 and more years have in store. Happy first birthday George!
