I had a very fun Saturday with the Fehr family. They took me to the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster. It was a perfect idea to celebrate Spring with a greenhouse of lush trees full of beautiful butterflies flying all around our heads. We woke Ian up from his nap but he was perfectly content. This is exactly how Ian has been when I have seen him. He is calm and sweet and smily. He is just a super happy kid. He was happy to be out and playing. He was exploring the trees and flowers and in awe. He looked so cute in his fedora and bowtie.
His sister was all dressed up in her spring dress too. Good thing it was hot and humid in the rainforest. Audrey was so excited to see all the bugs, spiders and other exhibits at the museum. She was searching for the turtle, who happened to be sleeping and ended up finding a beautiful patch of flowers. The butterflies were gently landing on the flowers and ground all around. Audrey was waiting so patiently for one to land in her hands. She didn’t even notice the ones that were landing on her back.
It was a wonderful day to celebrate Ian being 6 months!
Brother and sister playing inside the butterly area of the pavilion.
Family of four playing around amongst the trees.
Two siblings laughing and playing together.
Learning about butterflies.
Waiting patiently for the butterflies to come to them.
