I met Caryl and Allen for the first time at their wedding last March. I got to tag along and second shoot their wedding with Ryan. They got married at Red Rocks, and it was dumping snow. Seriously, dumping snow. So much that my camera kept trying to focus on the tiny snowflakes instead of this fantastic couple and their entire wedding party. The struggle was so worth it. As a bride to be I was a little concerned that so much snow could put a damper on a couples wedding day. Not the case here. Check out how insanely happy they were on their wedding day. I could not believe how cool – no pun intended – Caryl was, Allen too!
Fast forward to a few weeks ago when Ryan got an email that these two are expecting and would like to do some maternity photos. My immediate response was “They are going to be the BEST parents!” Caryl and I quickly got to planning their session. They drove up from Colorado Springs for their shoot at Union Station this past Saturday. I knew Allen wasn’t the biggest fan of taking photos – so we slowly eased into their session like any really awesome couple would – by talking about the Chicago Cubs! I always knew I liked these guys!
