Holy cow Evan sprouted up! He is not a baby any more but a toddler. He is almost as tall as his older brother Luke. I get to see this family once a year but had recently done the whole first year with Evan. We did newborn, 6 month and year photos. Now, seeing him again I just can’t believe how different he is. It is so fun to see these two and there personalities changing over the years. They get more independent and silly. They definitely each have their own style. Erik and Laura say that Luke is the theater boy. Always playing make believe and preforming. His shy smile has me fooled every time. When you start to play with him, however, you start to see his whole imagination open up. By the end of our session he was fighting dragons with his “sword”.
Evan is all boy. He is wild and silly and loves to run around. You can tell he looks up to his older brother. Yet he is very curious and adventurous all on his own. He has us chasing him all over Waterton Canyon as he giggled and ran. I had a blast catching up with this family. I love it every time I get to see them. Do I have to wait til next year?
Running down all the trails at Waterton Canyon.
The boys are so silly. They just wanted to play with their parents.
Now this is sibling love.
The mountain views at Waterton Canyon are subtle but beautiful.
Boys discovering what fun it is to play in the leaves.
While the boys ran ahead Laura and Erik stole a quiet moment. These are some proud parents.
