I met the Rogers with the help of one of our awesome families. They had just moved here from Arizona and wanted to commemorate their new home with some Colorado family photos. We started out in fall but quickly realized how nice it would be to show off some of the mountains. (That and a 2 year old hair cut). So we headed up to the top of Lookout Mountain just outside of Golden. I showed them one of my favorite spots in Colorado with the overlook of the continental divide.
We we first started taking pictures I didn’t believe they were a real family. I had been set up. They were just too perfect. The boys were polite and sweet and yet still fun and playful. The oldest Cade led the pack with Jase playing right behind him. The youngest, Duke, would follow and laugh hysterically. They were fun enough to play with mom and dad by climbing on them and being silly and then sweet enough to turn around and cuddle. I tried to ask Sarah and Matt what their secret is to raising such awesome boys, but I think they thought I was joking. I will get it out of them some day. For now, I was so glad to have met this family and welcomed them to Colorado.
Now this is a perfect family of 5.
The boys are trying to take Dad down and then they decide to snuggle with mom.
The boys all together. Including the new dog Hank.
Some mom and dad time.
The views of the Continental Divide are beautiful.
Matching jammies for everyone including the dog. How cute are they?!
