I love weddings at Della Terra<\/a> already, but getting to photograph JD and Ashley there made me love it even more. The whole day was so relaxed and all of their details were so elegantly coordinated. We got the blue skies that they hoped for and the weather couldn’t have been prettier.<\/p>\n

It was so cute hearing JD guess what the dress was going to be like while waiting for their first look. He knows Ashley pretty well because he was so close! And when he heard her getting closer he sighed “Ah, there she is. I can hear my darling’s laugh”. Right – they are THAT couple : ) They share such a natural chemistry that taking photos of just the two of them is a breeze. It also helps that Ashley is such a babe and I also learned during the speeches that JD used to model! Talk about a dream wedding couple. Not surprisingly, their wedding party was super fun and the kids may have stole the show a few times.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was unique as they had JD’s brother, who is a Psychologist, officiate. It was really cool to hear the marriage vows from that context – lots of great advice that not only applied to the couple but I am sure all of the guests picked up some great relationship tips. The reception was perfectly decorated – one of the most amazing cakes by Azucar Bakery<\/a> that I have ever seen! I loved the\u00a0engraved wine box where guests could write them notes of encouragement and advice that they will get to open at various stages of their marriage. Allie<\/a> and I are so thankful that we got to be the ones to document this day. We wish you all the best JD and Ashley!<\/p>\n
