You have met Sabrina and Manuel, now meet Dude. Dude is Sabrina’s horse that Manuel got her as a Christmas gift a few years back. Isn’t he beautiful? When Sabrina told me she had a horse everything inside me got excited. I love horses and most important when do you get to do an engagement session with a horse?! We decided that it was necessary to showcase both aspects of Sabrina and Manuel’s relationship. While they are hip and urban and love going out downtown, they also have the rustic outdoorsy side to them. So, we met at the ranch where Sabrina boards Dude and off we went. It was a beautiful property in the hills of Castle Rock. The views were 360 degrees all around us. You couldn’t turn to a bad spot. We got to explore the property, run from the rain, spend time in the horse barn and catch a glimpse of a beautiful sky after. It was a gorgeous night. Yes, even with the rain. It was so fun to spend it with Sabrina and Manuel. They are very sweet and caring and just make me laugh. I am pretty sure they had me laughing more than I had them by the end of the shoot. It is refreshing to be able to get to know them a little better since I met them at Sabrina’s sister’s wedding. The two sisters are very similar in their sweet, giggly and carefree nature, but it is lovely to get to know Sabrina a little more and learn about her relationship with Manuel. It was very apparent that their love has grown to an incredible depth over the years. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding this fall in Beaver Creek. If it is half as fun as their engagement session it is going to be epic!<\/p>\n
