What a day?! I, myself, have always loved winter weddings. Being from Colorado originally it is hard not to enjoy the snow, especially when it comes with crisp blue skies and warm sunshine. Thus, I have always thought that every season is perfect for a wedding in Colorado. Winter, tends to be especially unique. You get a little bit different landscape than you normally see at weddings, you get to be creative with warm clothing and intimate indoor spaces. Spruce Mountain Ranch is the perfect venue for a winter wedding. There is the beauty of the outdoors with the rolling hills and mountain backdrop. You can be in snow without hiking through a mess of it and you have the most beautiful spaces indoors to keep all your guests toasty warm. It was the best backdrop for Kaci and Kevin’s winter wedding.<\/p>\n

So setting everything up, we had the best February day possible. It had just snowed so everything was blanketed in white but it was about 50 degrees, which makes it wonderful to be outside surrounded by all that beauty. I don’t, however, thing Kaci and Kevin would have had a care in the world even if it was cold outside. They were so happy to be getting married. I mean so happy. The excitement that they displayed all day was extravagant. Kaci was basically giddy to marry this man and could not wait. I thought that maybe we would skip photos and just get to it. Their wedding party went above and beyond at every turn. They were all laughing, singing, dancing and celebrating and this was well before the ceremony. They even made a fun tunnel for the couple just to welcome them to starting pictures.<\/p>\n

We were so joyful to be able to enjoy these moments with them. There really is nothing better in the world then seeing two people connect and thrive together in such an excited manner. It makes you put all your faith in love when you see Kaci and Kevin together. I am so glad that they were able to celebrate with the people who mean the most to them and party like it was going out of style. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Day! To happy days!<\/p>\n
