My favorite things in life are moments of pure joy. There are a lot of things that cause these and for that, I am very grateful. One of them is the moment a couple gets engaged. The surprise, the excitement, the love, all comes to a culmination in one single moment. When Ted called me to tell me he wanted to propose to Mary. He had all sorts of exciting news as they are also expecting their first child in August. He was so sweet and thoughtful. He wanted to go hiking, their favorite activity with beautiful views of the mountains and the peace and quiet of the early morning. Oh my, it was a gorgeous morning. Like in a fairytale with warm sun and slightly crisp air. The sunrise was on fire and the birds were singing. He took her to the Walker Overlook at Mt. Falcon<\/a> with her parents and popped the question. She was so surprised and excited she was speechless. It was a beautiful moment to witness. Now they have another joyous occasion to look forward too. Congratulations Ted and Mary!<\/p>\n
