Krista & Joe got married in an epic manner. We began the day with light rain downtown at the Hyatt Regency<\/a> and Krista had the biggest smile on her face. All the way to Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield<\/a>, we knew their was going to be rain all day and although the rain got heavier, Krista & Joe’s spirits were as light as a feather. Their smiles didn’t faulter. It was so fun to see their faces beam for each other as we did their first look. All Allie had to do to get Joe to smile until his cheeks hurt was mention Krista’s name. The whole day was filled with people who wanted to celebrate with them no matter what. It all worked out too. Their ceremony was beautiful and intimate inside the barn at Chatfield<\/a>. Afterwards, everyone was cheering and laughing with drink in hand, celebrating the night away. My favorite part of the ceremony was when Krista made her promises to Joe’s son Dillon as well. It was so sweet to see the look in his eye and know how elated he was to have Krista join his family forever.<\/p>\n

As the night took a turn with the weather and the roads flooded out, everyone joined in to help move people back to the Hyatt Regency<\/a> for the rest of the party. Michele and the staff at Chatfield<\/a>, the wedding planners Aimee and Gina from Touch of Bliss<\/a>, the caterers at Relish <\/a>were incredible in moving people, keeping them safe, and planning the new party. My favorite quote of the night was when Joe and Krista got to their “shifted” reception Joe stood on the table to toast who was there. He said “To hell and highwater took on a whole new meaning tonight. If we can get through our wedding we can get through anything.” The fact of the matter was they didn’t have to get through their wedding. They were so happy to be together and getting married that they had a wonderful time the whole night through. It was an epic adventure, and they would agree an adventure is a wonderful way to start a marriage together!<\/p>\n
