They were planning a ski trip with Cailee&#8217;s family to Vail, in which her whole family goes every year. This year happened to be a very special year as it was her grandparents last year going. Alex knew how important her family is to her and how wonderful it would be to celebrate a special occasion on a trip like this. So he planned to ask her to be his wife. It happened on the day that the whole family goes to Russells for dinner, a yearly tradition. He walked Cailee down the trail by the river on the way to dinner. As they took in the calm afternoon and each other&#8217;s company, he got down on one knee and told her how much he loved her and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Needless to say, she said yes and a big celebration\u00a0was in order. Congratulations Alex and Cailee. We are very very happy for you!"}
