I love Rebeka and Karlis! They are one of those couples that you just can’t help but to smile from ear to ear just to get to be part of their story. I guarantee that you have never seen a happier bride. Even when trucking it trough a humid and wildly overgrown field to get to the barn for photos, she had the biggest smile on her face. Rebeka also gets huge props for not freaking out even a little when there were families of grasshoppers and ladybugs catching rides in the layers of tulle of her gown. She might<\/em> have reacted a little to the spider on her shoulder – but \u00a0I think that was totally valid. So yes, we went on a grand adventure for their couple-only photos and it was SO worth it. It was the first time that I have photographed a wedding couple at my favorite barn and so when they said they were willing to hike a little to make it happen I already knew that we were going to get the best wedding images ever! Rebeka was absolutely glowing in the soft light and it was seriously the cutest thing to see the way that\u00a0Karlis admired her.<\/p>\n

The Boulder Country Club was a beautiful setting for their ceremony. It was so quiet and peaceful – and so green! We are loving the weather in Colorado this year. Everyone in attendance was just as excited about Rebeka and Karlis finding each other as they are. It is more than obvious that they are the real deal and everyone knows it. I loved the “Thank You for BEAN here” coffee bean wedding favors, and loved the “Truffles for a Cause<\/a>” that support Komen and the American Brain Tumor Association, even more. Karlis lost his mother a couple of years ago and this was such a beautiful way to honor her at their wedding. The reception was so much fun and all of Karlis’ Nebraska friends enjoyed digging into the Huskers groom cake! Ali and I can’t say enough about how blessed we feel to have been part of this day – we wish you all the best!<\/p>\n
