A Golden Gate Canyon engagement session is always dreamy in fall. When you add two people who just fit together it becomes a whole different amount of awesome. I got to meet Lauren and Derek face to face for the first time. I had talked to Lauren on the phone about their wedding and about there life but talking to people in person is always better. Call me old fashioned but I think I am just a people person. They flew in for the weekend from Florida to enjoy the Colorado fall and get some changing leaves for their engagement session.<\/p>\n

The colors were perfect. There were yellows, oranges and reds. The weather couldn’t have been better either. Soft overcast skies made for dreamy light. It was so fun to see Derek be so sweet to Lauren. You can tell he wants her to be so happy. Lauren makes Derek laugh so easily. She knows just what to say to make him blush and that big bright smile come out. Together they are a great couple and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year at Crooked Willow Farm<\/a>s with The Gardner Effect.<\/a> It is going to be such a good one!<\/p>\n
