Sometimes you have a day that is more perfect than you could have ever imagined. This was one of those days. Kristen & Chris were getting married at Planet Bluegrass<\/a> up in Lyons the day after last weekend’s big snow storm. I wasn’t sure what it was going to be like under the sheer cliffs that line the venue. However, there was no reason or sense in fretting. No matter what the weather was going to be like a wonderful thing was happening, Chris and Kristen were getting married. Nothing could ruin that.<\/p>\n

As we all know now, the day turned out to be beautiful! The sun was shining and melted all the snow. It was actually so warm I took off my sweater. The girls gladly left behind the rain boots they had bought in the hotel. When I arrived Kristen was all smiles. The girls we all relaxed, pouring champagne and laughing. They casually got ready at the St. Julien Hotel<\/a> in Boulder and when it was time to leave they were more than ecstatic.<\/p>\n

Planet Bluegrass<\/a> was a dream. It is one of the most unique places I have ever photographed. It has everything from beautiful greenery, rustic buildings, a calming creek, mountain views and a sheer rock wall that juts to the sky. The ceremony sits right on the creek. I wanted to take Chris and Kristen everywhere. Together, they laugh and melt. I just wanted to spend the whole day in the moment that they saw each other for the first time. I have never seen so much laughing and pure joy as when Chris turned around. Kristen just makes Chris light up. Separate they are some of the sweetest people. Anyone will tell you that. Together, they shine exponentially. You can just tell that they are meant to be. From the time we got to spend with just the two of them before the ceremony to clinging to each other on the rock over the river it only took a split second to realize how well these two fit.<\/p>\n

The day continued from arriving at the venue without a hitch. I have to say Heather with Calluna Events<\/a> killed it at this wedding! There were cocktails on the patio following the ceremony. It featured lawn games and good drinks. The speeches were sweet with the perfect amount of humor. Kristen’s dad and mom brought down the house. Chris’s mom leads the way to the dance floor a traditional cheer of shots and then party time. Of course, the party was epic. You have to have good music in a venue that holds so many concerts right? Hipster Mama Productions<\/a> brought down the house.<\/p>\n

Throughout the day I loved hearing all the stories from friends and family about what made these two perfect for each other. They are full of adventure and love and their marriage will be too!<\/p>\n
