The rains have been a total bummer for engagement sessions, however Lesley and Erik managed to pick the perfect day. In between all the gloomy weather the sky opened up and we were able to take to the trails to celebrate Lesley and Erik being engaged. These two are hilarious and so chill. They were going to be up for anything regardless. We were lucky, though, to have the most beautiful night.<\/p>\n

We met at South Mesa Trail<\/a> near Eldorado Springs. This is one of my favorite spots in Colorado. It has beautiful trails surrounded by lush trees, a creek, and mountains on the west side. It is everything Colorado. Its beauty is so simple and perfect that it really let Lesley and Erik shine. They are a little camera shy. Which should not be the case as I would be ready to give them a pose or instructions and then I would look up and they would be looking perfect. Erik jokes it is from his hand modeling days. (I wish this was true) They are just so natural and great together. That is really all it takes. Two people who are genuine and in love. These two have it. That something special that you wait a lifetime for. They are lucky to have each other and I am so lucky to be a part of their wedding. I can’t wait for July!<\/p>\n
