Madison and Mike are about as cute as you can get. College sweethearts, they have a young joy that radiates between them. I met them at Ken Caryl to capture some of that joy for their engagement session. They had just flown in from Illinois and were looking bright and fresh. It was a beautiful night for photos. The clouds made the lighting glorious and as we went through the evening it just got better as the sun slowly popped out to shine on the rocks. Ken Caryl is a beautiful place to be. It has the same rock formations as Roxbourough State Park<\/a> and Red Rocks <\/a>but with a more intimate feel. Because they were coming in from out of town, we wanted to keep the Colorado feel without it being too similar to their wedding at Arrowhead Golf Course<\/a>. It is hard to resist since Arrowhead is so beautiful. I think we found the perfect spot for them. At first they thought it was going to be awkward but these two are anything but. They laugh together and smile and snuggle in such a real and close way. It was so easy that I really didn’t have to give them much direction. They just fell naturally into it. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year and see there incredible love turn into a wonderful marriage.<\/p>\n

The grandeur of these rocks gets me every time.<\/p><\/div>\n

This looks a little bit like Utah but Colorado has just as beautiful of caverns and rock formations.<\/p><\/div>\n
