Sydney and Nick had an amazing blue sky Colorado day for their fall wedding at Cherokee Ranch & Castle<\/a>.\u00a0 It is so much fun photographing both of them because from their engagement shoot to their wedding day, they couldn’t stop smiling when they were around each other.\u00a0 It made Janae and my job very easy!\u00a0 After they both got ready we went out for the first look and wedding party photos at a rocky outcropping that overlooks the valley below.\u00a0 It is definitely one of the best places to take wedding photos in Colorado, but their natural interactions and comfort with each other and their friends took the photos to another level.<\/p>\n

The day then continued with a heartfelt ceremony officiated by Sydney’s uncle.\u00a0 It always feels special when the bride and groom have a personal connection with their officiant.\u00a0 After a passionate first kiss and walking out to streamers (which were great for the photos), their guests enjoyed cocktails while they explored the castle and took family photos.\u00a0 One of the coolest shots of the day was when they were standing on the backside of the castle and our videographers with Elevate in Motion<\/a>, Chris & Rocco, did a shot of them kissing with a drone.\u00a0 Look for it soon!<\/p>\n

The day ended in the tent with a great dinner, amazing toasts and Sydney and Nick dancing the night away with friends.\u00a0 I really enjoyed working with both Sydney and Nick and wish them the best in their life together!\u00a0 It was definitely a great wedding to end things on for me. – McCory<\/p>\n
