There are a lot of things that make a great wedding. But if I am being honest, after shooting over 200 weddings, the one thing that truly makes it is the couple. It seems obvious right? As a photographer, we love all the details, the visuals. I love seeing gorgeous flowers that make a statement. A luxurious white tent with romantic arrangements and candlelit tables are always welcomed. Then you add a cake with frosting so thick it has intricate rivets and texture and a gown that makes the groom and frankly everyone else swoon. Send it to the top with a performance artist painting live and a band that keeps the dancefloor pumping all night. Not to mention a venue that has sweeping views of the whole valley and mountains and is a fairytale castle. Then you have a recipe for a good wedding. But what sends it over the edge is people like Nicole and Kurt. They have their own magic that could have lit up that tent on it’s own.<\/p>\n

Nicole is impossible not to love. Her charm is so magnetic that we all can overlook the fact that she doesn’t like pizza. You really just want to be around her, soak up some of her great smiles. Then you see Kurt and you realize the electricity they have together. Kurt’s smile does some charming of its own. It beams at you and when he looks at Nicole, well, all bets are off. The world might as well melt away and be filled with their smiles. They have clearly found their hearts in each other. I once heard someone say “If someone truly loves you, they won\u2019t tell you love stories, they will make a love story with you.\u201d I was lucky enough to see a chapter of Nicole and Kurt’s love story, I can’t wait to see what they continue to write together. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Kerns!<\/p>\n
