Brett and Albert’s wedding was as elegant and unique as they are. Individually impressive people, smart, caring, both doctors, together they make and unmistakably amazing couple. Their wedding was a perfect reflection of this. It started on Friday with a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony. Set by Albert’s mother and conducted by his brother it was incredibly intimate. There were only 9 people there and it was in Brett’s parent’s living room. It left room for spontaneity and reverence for the tradition. Afterward, Brett and Albert got to go through his mom’s traditional clothes and headpieces. They were incredibly intricate and gorgeous.<\/p>\n

The wedding day had the same feeling of intimacy regardless of the size. I think it was the fact that as soon as I walked in the hotel room as they were getting ready all I heard were stories swapped and kind words. It just felt like everyone was so comfortable with each other. I really think this spoke to Brett and Albert’s relationship. I mean they were so comfortable with each other from the beginning. They even thought about sharing a dog before they even started dating. I think that is the cutest thing. One has to think that they both knew in their minds while committing to such a thing. Regardless, it is just as endearing.<\/p>\n

Beyond the intimate and incredible celebration of the day, it was also stunningly beautiful. Radiant Events did a wonderful job blending the two traditions into an elegant evening. I loved all the red lanterns and strung lights. There were gold accents and exotic flowers. The room felt warm and inviting as well as grand. I just wanted to dance the night away in that room. And that is what they did. After a series of sweet speeches from parents and best friends, the party room filled with laughter, chatter and good music. Everyone was clearly extremely happy to celebrate to amazing people coming together forever.<\/p>\n
