You can see the gold dome of the Assumption of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox church as it sits high up on a hill just off of Alameda in the Hilltop neighborhood of south Denver.\u00a0 The exterior is just a tease of the beauty that is inside.\u00a0 Once you enter you will be blown away by all the icons painted in a classic Greek style.\u00a0 If you are Greek Orthodox, you couldn’t ask for a more stunning backdrop for your wedding ceremony.<\/p>\n
View Assumption of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox weddings we have photographed.<\/a><\/p>\n http:\/\/www.assumptioncathedral.org<\/a> Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception – Catholic<\/strong><\/p>\n The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is inspired by French Gothic architecture. It is stunning from the outside but when you walk in and see the overall scale it is breathtaking.\u00a0 It is 195 feet by 116 feet in length and width with a vaulted ceiling rising 68 feet above the slightly sloping nave. The church seats 800. The bell spires were capped at 210 feet in 1911.\u00a0 The finest Carrara marble from Italy was used for the altars, pedestals, statues, pulpit, bishop\u2019s throne and communion rail. At the top of each interior column, a trinity of ribs spring from a cluster of marble wheat and grapes. These ribs support the Gothic vaulted ceiling.\u00a0 It is definitely an amazing place to have your wedding if you are of the Catholic faith.<\/p>\n View Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Catholic weddings we have photographed.<\/a><\/p>\n https:\/\/www.denvercathedral.org<\/a> Cherry Hills Community Church Chapel – Presbyterian The Dixon Chapel at Cherry Hills Community Church is a simple, but elegant location for your wedding ceremony.\u00a0 The chapel is a totally separate building from the main church.\u00a0 It is built in stone and stands on a hill that looks over Highlands Ranch to the foothills and mountains of the front range.\u00a0 Once inside you can’t help but enjoy the stonework and the vaulted wood ceilings.\u00a0 One of the most unique features is stain glass that includes a cross behind the altar.<\/p>\n View a Cherry Hills Community Church Chapel wedding we have photographed.<\/a><\/p>\n https:\/\/chcc.org<\/a> Evans Memorial Chapel – Non-denominational The Evans Memorial Chapel is a historic landmark that is centrally located on the beautiful University of Denver campus.\u00a0 Completed in 1878 in downtown Denver, the Evans Memorial Chapel was built by Governor John Evans (University of Denver founder) in honor of his daughter who had died a decade earlier.
