{"id":5045,"date":"2014-04-18T23:09:06","date_gmt":"2014-04-18T23:09:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elevatephotography.com\/blog\/?p=5045"},"modified":"2014-04-18T23:09:06","modified_gmt":"2014-04-18T23:09:06","slug":"infinity-park-denver-wedding-and-tea-ceremony","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elevatephotography.com\/devwp\/blog\/infinity-park-denver-wedding-and-tea-ceremony\/","title":{"rendered":"Infinity Park Denver Wedding and Tea Ceremony"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Let me first\u00a0introduce to Hue and Phuc with\u00a0this KILLER video that their friends made for them! \u00a0It was featured at the reception on\u00a0<a title=\"Infinity Park\" href=\"http:\/\/infinityparkatglendale.com\/eventcenter\">Infinity Park<\/a>&#8216;s giant wrap around screen!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hy-pb9jdwNs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">How COOL are they? And that&#8217;s just one of the many incredible moments of the day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">They started the day with\u00a0a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony\u00a0at her parent&#8217;s house. \u00a0Only family and close friends attend this ceremony.\u00a0A reception immediately followed where family enjoyed the roasted pig and other traditional fare. The couple spent some time having photos taken before they headed over to the church for their second ceremony at\u00a0<a title=\"Our Lady of Lourdes\" href=\"http:\/\/church.ourladyoflourdesparish.org\">Our Lady of Lourdes<\/a> Catholic church. \u00a0Hue changed into a western style dress at the church which she wore for most of the pictures. The wedding party photos were done at DU campus (before church ceremony) and the streets around Sports Authority Field at Mile High (after the ceremony). \u00a0Having bright fun colors in photos was really important to them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Hue then changed into her 3rd dress,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%C3%81o_d%C3%A0i\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ao dai<\/span><\/a>\u00a0tunic (the blue dress) for the reception at Infinity park. \u00a0One of their friends was the emcee\u00a0for the night and introduced the wedding party red carpet style! \u00a0Everyone practiced an elaborate routine\u00a0for their grand entrance, and the whole wedding party performed a choreographed dance. \u00a0Hue and Phuc visited each table as the head of each family presented them with gifts as well as toast. \u00a0After that, ridiculous fun events took place one ager another &#8211;\u00a0there was never a dull moment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A few memories\u00a0from the photographer, <a title=\"Ryan\" href=\"http:\/\/elevatephotography.com\/blog\/colorado-wedding-photographer-ryan-erickson\/\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ryan Erickson<\/span><\/a>:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> <em>&#8220;Over the many years of photographing weddings I am always charged with the uniqueness of my couples. \u00a0I love when they are able to show their story, passion for each other and how they celebrate with friends and family.\u00a0Hue and Phuc are stellar examples of that.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>I remember Brian (my second photographer) and I starting out the day at Hue&#8217;s parents home and us taking off our shoes out of respect to begin taking pictures inside. \u00a0It was so comfortable to photograph while barefoot! \u00a0I wish I could get away with doing that more! \u00a0After their tea ceremony, I remember being so happy to have their family insist on us joining in a meal of tasty traditional foods and even a suckling pig! \u00a0We knew it was going to be a long day so we were so grateful to have a good meal to carry us through.<\/em><\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>Throughout the day I remember being so blown away by the exuberant energy that Hue, Phuc and their bridal party had. \u00a0Usually the groomsmen wait for the reception to loosen up and throw the groom up in the air. \u00a0Well, Phuc&#8217;s groomsmen had more in store for the reception so they got together and tossed him in the air in celebration between their tea ceremony and western church ceremony. \u00a0Check out their photos to see how much air he got!<\/em><\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>Hue and Phuc&#8217;s family loved being in photos and were all such characters in front of the camera. \u00a0I was so happy to always have someone requesting to have their picture taken at the reception. I remember giggling uncontrollably at the reception when Hue&#8217;s bridesmaids blindfolded her and lined up Phuc and his groomsmen on chairs. \u00a0While blindfolded, she had to squeeze the bottom of each guy and guess which pair of cheeks was her husbands! \u00a0You&#8217;ll have to check out the pictures and tell me if you think she won or not. \u00a0<\/em><\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>Their wedding celebration proved to me the power of having strong relationships with friends and family. \u00a0There is no doubt that whatever the world has in store for Hue and Phuc, that they will be surrounded by fun, genuine and passionate friends and family. \u00a0Thanks for sharing your day with me Hue and reception on\u00a0Infinity Park&#8216;s giant wrap around screen! How COOL are they? And that&#8217;s just one of the many incredible moments of the day. They started the day with\u00a0a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony\u00a0at her parent&#8217;s house. \u00a0Only family and close friends attend this ceremony.\u00a0A reception immediately followed where family enjoyed the roasted pig and other traditional fare. The couple spent some time having photos taken before they headed over to the church for their second ceremony at\u00a0Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church. \u00a0Hue changed into a western style dress at the church which she wore for most of the pictures. The wedding party photos were done at DU campus (before church ceremony) and the streets around Sports Authority Field at Mile High (after the ceremony). \u00a0Having bright fun colors in photos was really important to them.
