What a beautiful wedding! I was so excited when I saw Julianna’s amazing shoulder jewelry chain.\u00a0 It was the first time that I had a bride wear one, and it was such a unique and gorgeous touch. I don’t think I have a single photo where she isn’t smiling, and if I do it is only because I tried to make her be more intense for the “model-y” photos : ). She has the most attentive bridesmaids that I’ve seen, and it was obvious that everyone Julianna and Marcel were surrounded by completely supported their marriage. I loved that both moms were in the room helping to get the dress and veil on. Marcel’s guys were so fun to be around and I loved the way that they were able to make him laugh.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was kicked off with a bagpiper!\u00a0 The Wellshire Inn has such a lovely ceremony location and the red roses were the perfect addition to the natural decor. Springtime in Colorado is pretty unpredictable, and although we got a dry day, I was so proud of Julianna for not complaining about the cold even once.\u00a0 I don’t think she noticed much when we were doing portraits of just the two of them – they do the natural snuggling thing so well! One of my favorite lines of the day was when their son Vinny popped into the room when Julianna was getting bustled and said; “Hi mom, you look so beautiful…AND I have CANDY in my pockets!”<\/p>\n
