Kathleen and Ben are the absolute COOLEST. When I first met Kathleen and her mom at the Rocky Mountain Bridal show, I was all nerdy and nervous like I was on a date because I already knew that I REALLY liked Kathleen and I wanted it to work out so bad. So when I met Ben and it was all finalized, happy dancing happened for SURE. Why are they so cool? Guys, Kathleen quotes Andrew W.K. songs and Ben understands my passion for Settlers of Catan. That is only the tip of the iceberg and if it ever happened that we hung out on a more regular basis, I would not be sad. I know that Ryan feels the same way after having spent their rehearsal dinner with them. I was bummed that I wasn’t able to be there, but Ryan was the perfect fit for their evening at Prague!
The wedding day was so much fun and over and over everyone kept commenting on just how “chill” everyone was. But seriously, the bridal suite was so calm and Kathleen just had this peaceful glow all day. Ben shared that vibe and I really enjoyed every moment with them and their wedding party. I was especially impressed when they broke out their war cries Braveheart style. Epic.
The Sanctuary is always a beautiful venue and their fall themed decor completed the dark wood and stone elements perfectly. Adrienne with A Touch of Bliss totally nailed the florals and details – so pretty! The ceremony was gorgeous, and I loved that they poured WHISKEY into a barrel for their unity “moment”. See – so cool. It also goes without saying really how beautiful Kathleen looked and how perfect they looked together standing out on the cliffs overlooking the front range. So stinking romantic!! I just love you two and am so glad that I got to be a part of your wedding. I wish you all the best!
