Ivy Lane Floral Design | Vendor Spotlight

By Elevate Photography • May 7, 2018 • Inspiration

Meet the ladies at Ivy Lane Floral. They are some of the sweetest and most talented women I know. Talk about a strong duo, everything about their business makes us happy. They are loving, dedicated, creative, family oriented, intelligent, and considerate. Their floral arrangements continue to blow our minds at wedding after wedding. We love having them as partners in crime in this wonderful industry. We thought we would give you a chance to get to know them a little so you can see what we are talking about.

How did you get into the world of wedding flowers?

After spending time designing flowers for various different events and holidays, we realized that the wedding industry is our favorite part of being florists!  Wedding flowers bring so much joy and beauty to the day. Plus, we feel so honored to be a part of such a special day in the couples lives.

What services does Ivy Lane offer?

We are a full service event florist that specializes in weddings, but also has a number of corporate events we design yearly as well.  We have a large inventory of rental items and can assist you in your overall event décor.

What distinguishes you from other floral companies?

The fact that we do not have a retail store front sets us apart.  We are able to give 100% of our focus to our clients, not being distracted by running a shop.  Focusing on our customer service. We are not a wedding factory, taking on only one wedding per day, per designer.  Our work is personal to us and we strive to get to give the best service to our couples.

What do you enjoy most about the floral business?

We love the joy flowers bring to all people.  No matter what event you are designing for, everyone loves beautiful flowers.

What are some key tips for a bride and groom to have the best flowers possible?

Use the wedding resources out there, whether it be The Knot, Wedding Wire, or Pinterest, to see what inspires you.  Compile a list of flowers you love, colors you desire, and styles that appeal to you, to better prepare you for your consultation.  But have an open mind during the consultation so that your florist can provide you with their professional opinion.

What trends are you seeing?  Greenery, greenery, greenery.  Blushes. Burgundy. Gold and mixed metals.  Geometrics.

Who is Ivy Lane’s ideal client?  Someone who values the importance of flowers at their event.  Knowing how they set the décor tone and add ambience.
