Well, taking photos of Kelly and Seth truly felt more like hanging out with friends. That’s the best kind of shoot, no doubt. Even better, I only have to wait a month to see them again because their wedding is already coming up in May! We started out at Ratio Beerworks, which is my new favorite Brewery not only because they have great beer, but also because it is such a visually cool location. It is also in a neiborhood that has more portrait locations than you could possibly use. I loved watching the way that Seth makes Kelly laugh and hearing all of their inside jokes. (I wish I could share a few with you, but sometimes moms read these blogs – ha!) We had a few obstacles with it being opening weekend for the Rockies and therefore decided against trying to take photos near the stadium as originally planned, but we got some really cool photos at dusk at Union Station instead. For one second we thought we might be getting busted by the cops, but I loved that he only wanted to photobomb their shot! Thanks for the fun evening and I can’t wait for your wedding! – Jo
