Cheesman Park and Kevin Taylor’s at the Opera House Denver Wedding

I am so excited to share this Cheesman Park and the Kevin Taylor’s at the Opera House Denver Wedding!  You might remember Lara and Steve from the Denver Beer Company Engagement that we shared not too long ago.  With such  fun engagement shoot as that one, I already knew that this wedding would be a blast. Here’s a little bit about their day from the photographer, Katie Walker:

“I was so glad that I got to photograph Lara and Steve’s wedding! I met them through one of my favorite couples, Andrea & Mike Wechter, and I was so so excited when they booked me for their wedding as well. They are super relaxed and laid back, but have a sense of humor and silliness that I am drawn to. Their wedding reiterated everything I loved about them. The boys were chiming it up with random strangers and cracking jokes the whole time we were taking photos. The girls held their own by living it up at the bar and not taking themselves too seriously. I am pretty sure I was giggling all day…well, at least until the ceremony. I think I was crying during that. Steve’s niece was so excited to see him as she walked down the aisle. Steve was equally ecstatic until  he caught glimpse of Lara and based on his face I am pretty sure he forgot the world existed.

The ceremony was sweet and full of family, including his brother as his best man, brother in law as the officiant, and readings by his other brother in law and cousin. My favorite part was at the end after they kissed Steve just pulled her in for an excited hug and kiss on the head. It felt like they slowed down for an instant and just realized that they really did it–they really got married. The rest of the day followed suit and I was laughing hysterically through the toasts as well as the FLASH MOB, which yes, even parents were involved in. It was just a lovely day, a hysterical and lovely day.”
