Boulder is the place to be in the fall. I love everything about it. It is so beautiful sitting at the foot of the flatirons. The trees change reds and oranges all over the mountain, in the fields and on campus. The town is bustling with new students. It just has such a fresh feeling. When Leah and Chad told me they wanted to go there for their engagement session I was like “Heck YES!.”
It was a beautiful Saturday morning. Leah and Chad met me downtown Boulder to do some colorful photos among the alley walls and the shops on pearl street. They brought their adorable dogs who were very excited to be out and about.
It took me about 2 seconds to fully understand how in love these two are. As her sister put it they are so obviously in love it kind of makes you sick. For me it wasn’t in your face it was just that they exuded joy. A deep set joy with each other that made them want to laugh and smile and hold each other tight.
This carried on throughout the session as we headed to east Boulder to get a more rustic feel at my favorite barn in Colorado. It was so romantic amongst all the trees and they were being so cute. I just wanted to keep them in my pocket and take them out when I feel sad. Okay maybe a little cheesy but they seriously make you happy. I can’t wait until their wedding next July. It is going to be awesome!
