Khari and Abigail blow my mind. There is something incredible about them I just can’t describe. Scratch that, there are so many incredible things about them that I just can’t describe. The very simplistic version of it is that they spread joy. With their smiles, their swagger, their kindness. They spread it with the things they are interested in and the way they listen to people. It shows the very most when they come together. If they were a movie or graphic novel, when they touch there would be a golden light that shines out of them and falls on all the people around them. Yes it sounds cheesy, but go be around them and you will understand what I mean. It is special and magical and should be celebrated.
And it was! In the best way possible. Abby and Khari had their day planned to a t and perfectly accessorized. I loved loved loved seeing all their details, from the custom jammies, to jewlery boxes, invitation suite, and the dining room. Oh my, the dinning room. It was so elegant in gold and navy and deep fall reds and purples. They had geodes on every place setting expressing beautiful sentiments like kindness or gratitude. The cake was incredible with it’s busting geode glimmer and at the base more custom geodes with “She is my treasure, he is my treasure.” on them. Lindsay, at Fairytale Floral, outdid herself with the floral. It was luxurous and so elegantly fall. I mean, dang, Abby and Khari have good taste. Not to mention the groomsmen were looking fly and the bridesmaids in their velvet dresses were drop dead gorgeous.
Can you tell that I has the time of my life?! If you can’t then you must ask me about the dancing. I am pretty sure that Abby and Khari only surround themselves with people who can dance. Two of my biggest highlights were 1. when the groomsmen wanted to do a temptation photo but broke out singing “My Girl” to Abby. 2. the surprise dances that happened over and over with people just dropping our jaws. Khari even did a little dance for his bride that made all the girls swoon.
I could go on and on. Really, I just feel so ecstatic that these two got married and were deeply celebrated. I can’t believe I got to be a part of it. Thank you so much.
