Happy 2019! What a way to bring in the new year than to see two incredible people get married. I don’t think it could have been any better either. I knew Alison and Zach’s wedding was going to be so much fun the moment I sat down with Alison. I had met her briefly at her brother’s wedding a few years back. I remember from that wedding that she did this awesome song/toast on her ukelele and I thought she was super cool. Turns out she is even cooler than that. She is kind and smart and hilarious and she met her perfect match in Zach. They are such a cool example of what a relationship should be. She even said so in her vows. We all TOTALLY agree.
It all started out at an Air BnB in Denver. Everyone was there just having a blast. The music was loud, the drinks were flowing, the jokes were cracking and it just felt like everyone was best friends. Alison and Zach had everything so perfectly planned that their guests could just enjoy every moment. There was no fussing or running around. It was all just fun. Everything went to plan. Even the light beautiful falling snow was what Alison wanted. It was soft and so pretty and really made it feel like a magical New Years Eve.
The Studios at Overland Crossing were also the perfect spot for this wedding. It had an awesome balance of industrial urban and party glam. The hung market lights and twinkle lights throughout the space made the ambiance perfect. Plus it went with Alison’s light theme. Her attendants carried lanterns and she carried a custom light bulb bouquet. It was one of the coolest bouquets I have ever seen and it was special since her friends designed and built it. Man, she knows talented people.
I have so many things to say about this wedding and could probably write a novel, but I think the pictures will do it justice. Do me one favor and ask them about their vows sometime (if you weren’t there) they were so elegant and yet funny. I know Alison is a writer but both hers and Zach’s were inspiring. They really spoke to their love, commitment and how they are going to continue to build their lives together. I am so happy to have met them and been a part of their wedding. What a killer day!
Cheers to Alison and Zach!
Thank you so much to all the incredible vendors:
