Words can’t explain how awesome of a time I had at Allison and Ryan’s wedding at The Barn at Raccoon Creek this Fall. I remember meeting them for the first time in studio and be excited for the chance to capture their special day. Allison and Ryan are deaf and when first learning this, I was excited for the opportunity to communicate differently with my couple. Integral to both their engagement session and wedding was my assistant Julia who was able to sign for me and translate. It was great because I was able to turn into a second photographer at times while Julia was signing with them. I loved how it allowed me to step back and find a different perspective.
Their details were perfectly tailored for a Colorado Fall wedding! I loved the groomsmen herringbone tweed suits with maple leaf and acorn boutineers. Allison’s ladies rocked their olive bridesmaid dresses that complimented the reds and yellows that were peppered throughout the day. Go on, see for yourself how awesome their day was!
Thank you, Allison and Ryan, for trusting me to photograph your wedding day! –Ryan
