I had been looking forward to Vince and Andrea’s wedding for a year and as it got a lot closer I just got more excited. When I met them a year prior, I was instantly drawn to them. I met them in Breck and as we talked I could already appreciate how intentionally they were being about their wedding. It was going to be a small ceremony with 25 friends and family on top of the mountain. Then they were going to celebrate after. Seemed simple enough, but in its simplicity, you could see their genuine excitement and attention to the things that really mattered.
Vince and Andrea are super sweet people. In each other, they have found a bond that will take them through adventures and romance as well as sustain them to understand that real love is celebrated in everyday moments. I love watching them together. They just radiate joy. That is how their wedding was as well. Everything just went so smoothly and the whole day was about their joy. The ceremony was at Sapphire Point overlooking Dillon Reservoir. It was crystal blue sky and the chipmunks were flittering around Andrea’s dress. With being a small ceremony, it wasn’t quick. Their officiant and friend did a wonderful job with the reverence and fun of their nuptials. We all had laughs and tears enough to fill that valley between the mountains.
The party carried on down in Breckenridge. The distillery is my new favorite place to shoot. It was so unique and comfortable but intimate and classy. Everything the mountains should be. The barrel room was incredible with its walls of barrels and hung bulb lights. The dark arts lounge was the perfect place to sip whiskey.
All in all, I was so happy to see these to celebrate the way they should be! Congratulations to an awesome pair, Mr. and Mrs. Yost!
