Being a wedding photographer, I get to be around many different people’s expression of love and commitment. At Ashley and Lawrence’s private vow renewal, I added yet another heartwarming memory from their expression of love.
They have been married for five years now and have the sweetest son, Jase. It was important for them to get photos of them renewing their vows with each other in front of some of their closest friends and family. Seth, Brook and I truly felt a part of the day because it was such an intimate day.
After Ashley wowed Lawrence after getting into her second(!) wedding dress, we traveled over to Cherry Creek State Park. After a fresh rain, the park was all ours. They were delighted with the hidden trails that we explored and I was amazed by how much Ashley looked like she was in a fairy tale while surrounded by the lush woods.
They returned home and gathered under their backyard tree. Here, I witnessed some of the most powerful words shared between the two of them. After having been married for five years, they have a lot of experiences that have strengthened their bond. After sharing some cake, we headed downtown to the RiNo district for some fun photos of all the great wall art.
I can’t wait to watch their family grow over the years. I was honored to be a part of this exciting chapter in their lives together! –Ryan
