Castles, rattlesnakes and sunflowers. Oh my! Avery and Jeff had a gorgeous wedding at Cherokee Ranch and Castle last week and those were just a few of the characters present. I’ve been looking forward to their day ever since I spent time with them and Avery’s family up in Keystone last Winter for their engagement. We went from the chilly mountain top of the ski lift to their sunny July wedding day! Jeff proposed to Avery at Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany. It’s the castle that Disney modeled its castle after. Pretty awesome right? They knew after that that they would get married at a castle. Hence the wedding at Cherokee Castle!
It was so warm out that we had to have a security guard navigate the property with us to watch out for rattlesnakes. One of the guards found a baby hiding and showed him off to us in the pitcher that he caught him with. You have to see its photo below!
The whole day went smoothly thanks to Lauren with The Gardner Effect who made the day easy and fun! We dodged a rain storm just as we wrapped up photos with the wedding party and luckily the sun came out for a beautiful sunset! See for yourself! Thank you, Avery and Jeff, for welcoming me into your family! –Ryan
