Take a break from celebrating Fourth of July and celebrate Becky and Evan’s awesome wedding at Holy Ghost and Coors Field! Sports was a theme that I saw weave their lives together. Becky worked for the Rockies and Evan is a football coach. It was obvious to me after spending time at their engagement session and then at their wedding that these two make a great team. Then add their great wedding party and family and they have a perfect franchise!
Becky got ready for her man at the Brown Palace in the Eisenhower suite. Swanky, right? The classic hotel complimented her and her bridesmaids perfectly. We then headed over to Holy Ghost to join with Evan. I’ll never grow tired of witnessing a ceremony in that church. The air is thick with history and glow of the grand chandeliers washes the outside world away.
After exchanging vows, we went out on the town and finished up at Coors Field where they had the reception. We were able to go with the wedding party down onto the field! Another first for me! It was so fun getting to walk on the immaculate field. We even got to go back to the water fountains which go off on home runs. It was such a well kept place and we were really impressed how it felt like a garden getaway in the city.
After some great food and yummy homemade Italian cookies from the family, they partied down on the dance floor. We ended the night with them when Evan and all the men in Becky’s family serenaded her with Amore. So sweet! Thank you Becky and Evan for welcoming me in to your lives! –Ryan
