I’ve got to say, our grooms definitely know how to pick out the BEST engagement rings! It’s always so fun to hear the stories of how the ring was chosen and how he proposed. Often times there was lots of hinting and help (and sometimes full-on picking out) from the brides-to-be, but some of my favorite stories are when the ladies tell me how he completely surprised them and how “the ring was better than anything they could have ever picked for themselves”. (Awwwwwe!) However the story goes, it is always a testament to the couples’ relationship and reflects the way that they communicate and work together. The proposal story and the ring are always perfect for them. Some guys just know their ladies too well to know that they could never surprise her with something that she will be wearing for the rest of her life. And then there are the guys who happen to be more up to date on ring fashion than the ladies!
What I LOVE about looking at all of these engagement ring photos from our engagement shoots over the past year is how well it represents the diversity and uniqueness of every couple. You would think that with over 150 ring shots they would start looking the same – but they don’t! They are like perfect little diamond snowflakes (too cheesy?). Even when a few of the rings are quite similar, the way each photographer chose to shoot it is so cool! The ring shot tells so much of the story of what the couple likes to do together and about what their personal style is. We have such a mix of unique, modern, classic, and vintage engagement rings here. It’s also so cool that there are so many colorful gems included in this collection! I hope you have as much fun browsing through hundreds of diamonds as I did!
