I am so excited to share Maddie and Colten’s wedding photos! They are our “Feel the Love” free wedding contest winners this year, and it just means so much to us that we got to be a part of this beautiful day. One thing is absolutely certain, that Jesus is the center of this couple’s relationship as well as the lives of most of their friends and families. Having time for prayer was put before any other event in the day. After that, sharing time with family and loved ones was the close second, and that to me is the sign of a marriage that has their priorities set right.
Getting to know Madeline and Colten through this whole process was so fun. I got to see their adventurous and lively personalities in action during their engagement session, and it was no different on their wedding day. They are one of the most spirited couples you will ever meet and their smiles literally brighten the room. They picked such a great venue for their country themed wedding! The Barn at Racoon Creek updated their facilities for this season, and it feels like they brought in a farm from the country to the heart of Littleton. The wedding party cottage is gorgeous and I just love that is opens up right into the ceremony site – what a cool way to walk down the aisle!
Some of my favorite memories from the day was during their first look. Before they saw each other, they took the time to read letters that they wrote to each other as well as to pray together. When they finally got to come around the corner to see each other, it was just the such an exciting moment. I also loved Maddie’s grandparents – by photobombing the couple, sneaking frosting off of the cake, getting down on the dance floor, and joining in on the bouquet toss they easily because my favorite wedding guests. But speaking of bouquet-garter tosses – holy smokes, that was certainly the most involved crowd I’ve seen!
Madeline and Colten, Brian, Alyssa, and I are so honored to have been part of your wedding day. We wish you so many adventures and laughs to come and I am so excited to see where the Lord takes you next!
