Happy new year everyone! What a perfect way to start a new year than with the lovely Danielle and Kyle. McCory and I joined them at Four Seasons on New Year’s Day and couldn’t have been met with a more bright and purely sweet group of their friends and family.
Temperatures dropped to the low 30s that day yet even the bridesmaids with bare shoulders didn’t complain once of the cold in the cooler shadows of the Denver skyline.
One of my favorite parts about photographing in the winter is how low the sun stays in the sky. Rays of light that ice never seen before transform the familiar surroundings of the DCPA. After touring the streets and stopping off at the Corner Office for some warming beverages we corralled back at Four Seasons where Kyle would make Dani his bride.
I loved the space that they created with market lights draped behind their pergola at their ceremony. It was in the moment of witnessing them declare their love for each other among their friends and family that I reaffirmed my gratefulness for being a part of so many special moments.
I wondered how happening their recreation was going to be after having celebrated on New Year’s Eve the night before. Let’s just say there families know how to have a proper good party! Thanks Danielle and Kyle for trusting me with your big day. I’ll always remember our time in Fort Collins at your engagement as well as your truly beautiful wedding day. Congrats! – Ryan
Thanks to all the awesome vendors!
