This wedding was one for the books! Katie and I had such a blast getting to capture all the moments of this day. I was almost at a loss for words when beginning to write this post. Emily and Eitan are such beautiful people from the inside out. They got married at the Grand Hyatt in Denver and we also spent some time at the gorgeous Byron White Courthouse. I love the classic look that the courthouse provides and the views at the Grand Hyatt are, in my opinion, the best in Denver! They could not have chosen a better place to get married.
When I arrived in the morning there was so much excitement in the room. All of the ladies in Emily’s life where there to help her will all the final touches before she saw Eitan for the first time that day. After chatting with them it turns out that neither of them could sleep the night before. They missed each other so much that at around 4 AM they both decided to text the other only to find out that they were both wide awake in anticipation! That is true love right there.
I loved getting to experience all their amazing family and Jewish traditions that they incorporated in their big day. Eitan was carried by his men and announced with trumpets to meet Emily before the ceremony. How awesome is that?! Emily’s two brothers wrote a moving toast and read passages from Emily’s beloved grandmothers dairy where she wrote about the times she got to spend with Emily growing up. One of the last passages she wrote was a heartfelt entry about meeting Eitan for the first time and how wonderful he was. There was not a dry eye in the house, including me and Katie. What a wonderful day it was! Now we just need to convince them to move back to Colorado so we can photograph them every year 🙂 Congratulations to the both of you! Cheers! –Janae
