I joined Jennifer and Jacob at Union Station last night to start out their engagement session. They take the train regularly to attend Rockies and Avalanche games. We naturally headed over to Coors Field to show off their collective passion for sports. They are also self-proclaimed nerds. So, I suggested bringing some books to recreate a scene of how I imagine them meeting for the first time while reading at the train station. Luckily they were game for it and had fun with it! Another one of they’re memorable Denver locations is 16th St Mall and the DNF clocktower. They spend every New Year’s Eve ice skating under the clocktower. We found a great rooftop view of it for photos.
We finished the night with a sweet view of the Denver skyline. They will be moving to LA after the wedding and I love thinking how Jennifer and Jacob will look back on these photos to remember how their story flourished in Denver! Can’t wait for their wedding at The Golden Hotel this November! –Ryan
Jennifer and Jacob enjoy reading both for work and pleasure. I loved recreating a scene where they may have first met at Union Station.
We found this temporary art installation that was part of the fence to construction walls around Union Station. I love touches like this. Good job Denver!
They celebrate New Year’s Eve on 16th St Mall under the DNF clocktower. We found the perfect spot to show the iconic Denver building and them of course!
Practicing some first dance moves for the wedding on a Denver rooftop.
Denver is a big sports town which Jennifer and Jacob have loved being a part of! They’ll soon be moving to LA. I’m glad we got a photo of them in front of Coor’s field to help them remember their love for baseball! (We didn’t have time to go to Pepsi Center for an Avalanche shot!)
Final kiss at night Diamond Hill. When they come visit from LA in a few years, I’m sure this skyline will have changed a lot!
