Last week was a whirlwind adventure for Kerry and Kip. They are from Texas and had a destination wedding at Arrowhead Golf Course. Throughout the planning process, we only had the chance to chat on the phone. It wasn’t until the week before when they were in town that we got to meet up for a portrait session at Bear Creek Park. I learned quickly that these two were easy going and fun to be around. That further proved to be true at their wedding on Saturday when I met the rest of their friends and family.
Kerry and Kip picked Arrowhead because of their passion for geology. I loved hearing from Kerry how the beautiful sandstone formations were created over time. Every time I photograph there, I’m in awe! Arrowhead was perfect for them too since both of them are passionate golfers. It was fun seeing them compete on the best swing out on the fairway. Their playful banter no doubt is what keeps their relationship and fun and true.
The party at Arrowhead ended when it was still light outside so they did a send off with streamers. It was fun seeing guests shake away as they sent off Kerry and Kip to the after part! Thank you Kerry and Kip for trusting in me and welcoming me into your lives! -Ryan
