Kiff and Katie are amazing people who deserved nothing less than the perfect wedding day that they had. I mean seriously, have you ever seen a groom taking the time to read a story to his nieces the morning of his wedding? SO precious. It’s no wonder that Katie fell in love with him, especially being a teacher and lover of children. Of course she will tell you it had a lot to do with how handsome and fun he is as well. And Kiff mentioned more than once that it was pretty dang close to love at first sight when he saw her bright blue eyes for the first time. There really is no question though of how meant-to-be they are. Just spend a few minutes around these guys and it has the same effect as watching a sappy romantic comedy. What I am saying by all of this is that they are the real deal, as in love as can be, and I am so honored that I got to be the one to document their day.
I love shooting at the Donovan Pavilion in Vail, especially when the leaves start changing, and we got the most incredible golden aspens as a setting for the wedding party photos. With a fall themed wedding I was so glad that we found a spot with so many colorful leaves. Katie was just shining and I can’t get over how incredible she looked – what a gorgeous dress! And when she was with her Kiff, there was nothing that coud get them down. It was the first time a couple was so free spirited to kick off their shoes to stand in the middle of the stream to get “the shot”. Gosh I love you guys! Noah and I have such an amazing time at your wedding, thank you for letting us be a part of your big day!
