Kristin and John were married last weekend at St. Elizabeth of Hungary and Mile High Station downtown and it was perfect down to the last string of lights! Both of these venues are stunning and made for an incredible urban and modern feeling backdrop. Kristin’s mom, Lisa, planned a truly beautiful day for friends and family to gather around this amazing couple. I can honestly say that I’ve never seen a day planned so well down to the very last detail. Especially, when you realize that you are ahead of schedule. Now that’s a wedding miracle!
Jo and I had a blast taking photos at this wedding. The wedding party was full of experienced wedding goers, which helped things go smoothly. But better than that, they had a ton of fun! There were even a few jokes that I am sure will go down in Elevate wedding history. The best part of all though was a moment that only Kristin and John were there for while we were photographing under the bridge near Mile High Station. Kristin definitely tells the story best though, so if you want to hear what happened, she will give you the first hand story of the hilarious scene we all witnessed.
It meant a lot to both Jo and I to be able to spend the day with the Kleist and Schmitt families. We felt very welcome to spend the day helping this family celebrate such a joyous occasion. Kristin and John have a wonderful support system backing them up for the rest of the lives. These two have a genuine honesty about their love that only two people who are best friends can have. And that’s exactly what they have found together. The jokes and movie quotes that passed between the two of them went on all day. Even when they weren’t even together they were telling similar jokes. Now that’s love! The laughter that passes between the two of them is contagious. It’s the type of love that has you laughing for a lifetime. Congratulations Kristin and John, thanks for letting me be a part of it! I am lucky to know such a kind and loving couple!
