Laurel and Drew make you laugh, cry, swoon and want to fall in love. These two are a perfect match of building each other up, honest, and sweet sentimental love. When I first met with Laurel, she spent much of the time telling me how much I would love Drew and how great he is for her. When I met him, I could tell the way that he looked at her that he thought the same but opposite. They are the type of people who know how lucky they were to find each other. Everyone knew it and the smiles were never ending and never fading.
As told in their relationship, in their wedding ceremony, and anytime you talk to them their love can be compared to their love of climbing. They prepared throughout their relationship to tie the knot as they tied numerous knots on the rocks while climbing, in order to keep each other safe and supported. It was not with out encouragement to climb higher and further and take risks as well, but they always knew that they had each others backs. They pushed further together, became stronger with each climb and celebrated their many heights. So for their ceremony they actually tied a knot. They tied individual knots to acknowledge and symbolize their individual lives and accomplishments and then pushed those knots together to make a tighter stronger bond that could not be easily broken. It was a beautiful metaphor and incredibly unique ceremony to them.
The rest of the day was full of the celebration of taking their relationship to the higher level. It was perfectly elegant with Laurels, classic draping dress and radient beauty, along with all the purples in the cascading centerpieces. Not to leave out the ambiance of candles and the sentimentality of the laurel leaves throughout the reception. And the elegance of the moments was heightened to the ambiance of the dance party and fun moments of the photo booth to make sure all their friends and family were not only having a great time but remembered adequately.
It was a perfect day. Even the sun came forth in its beautiful and unique elegance of bright orange as to say, this is really something special.
