I am so glad that Lauren and Jeremy (& Charlotte!) were able to make it work to meet up with me to do engagement photos! We weren’t sure it if would work out as they live in Louisiana and are planning their Golden Hotel wedding from out of state, but it was so great to get to hang out with them in person before their wedding day. While Charlotte chased squirrels and fed the ducks (and my assistant followed her) I was able to have some alone time with just the two of them. I love the way that Jeremy is able to bring out Lauren’s smile and how natural and calm they are together. When we were able to trick Charlotte into being in the photos, we got some really special moments. The wall with the robots was one of my favorite new discoveries and it fit so well with the hybrid engagement-family photoshoot. I was also excited to see the cherry blossoms blooming and to get that warm Spring dusk – some of my favorite light to photograph in! I still can’t get over Lauren’s “Julia Roberts” vibe. (And thanks for my new favorite quote from a shoot!) She is so photogenic it’s crazy and Jeremy seriously knows how to turn it on for pictures – I think it helps that he is a photographer himself.
I had such a great time with you guys and now I’m looking forward to your wedding even more!
