It is a very Merry Christmas for Megan and Drew this year! They rendesvoused in Denver for their engagement photos while visiting family for the holidays. Drew had been traveling so they were super pumped to be with each other on their Denver adventure. We started out in LoDo near The Oxford Hotel and Union Station on the brisk winter afternoon. We were so grateful that it was as warm as it was. The forecast from a few days earlier projected it to be 14 degrees. Yikes! Luckily it was much warmer than that. They brought a stash of fireball which also helped keep us warm as well 😉
We continued to thaw out over at the new Maven Hotel and their awesome bar called Poka Lola. They are also part of The Dairy Block which is the coolest new alley way pop up shop. I’ve yet to photograph in these spots so I was super excited to explore with Megan and Drew.
We finished up for some classic Colorado evergreens and snow in photos over at Confluence Park. Doesn’t it feel like we headed up into the foothills? We’ll be in the Ken Caryl valley foothills in August for their wedding at the beautiful Manor House and I can’t wait! –Ryan
